Vera Zamagni is a professor of Economic History at the University of Bologna, a former Vice President of the Emilia-Romagna regional government; the co-founder (and co-editor, 1997-2001) of the European Review of Economic History; a former Secretary General of the Italian Economic History Society; and a Trustee of the Bologna branch of the Bank of Italy. Together with her husband, Stefano Zamagni, she is the author of Cooperative enterprise: facing the challenge of globalization.
