Michaela Collord is a Junior Research Fellow in Politics at New College, University of Oxford. Her research focuses on the political economy of authoritarian rule, party-business ties, and most recently, the expansion of urban cooperatives in both Uganda and Tanzania. She is also a UK fellow of  the Democracy Collaborative.
