Isaiah J. Poole - Communications Director
Isaiah J. Poole is communications director for The Democracy Collaborative. He joined the organization in 2018 as editorial manager for The Next System Project. He was previously communications director for People’s Action and for the Campaign for America’s Future, where he was editor of OurFuture.org, the organization’s website and blog. He has worked as a journalist and editor for most of his career, with much of his reporting focused on Washington D.C.-area and national politics. He was a founding member of both the Washington Association of Black Journalists and the National Gay and Lesbian Journalists Association. He is a native Washingtonian with a B.A. in journalism from Penn State University.
