Join us for the opening plenary of our NYC Convening, a 3-day event that unites community activists, economists, students, and visionaries of all types to envision what the “next system” will truly look like, and how we can build it together. The plenary will feature Next System Project co-chair Gar Alperovitz, CUNY Graduate Center distinguished fellow Frances Fox Piven, New Economy Project co-director Deyanira Del Rio, The Nation Senior Editor Sarah Leonard, Black Lives Matter activist Autumn Marie, and Fund for Democratic Communities co-managing director Ed Whitfield.
