From New York to Seattle, from Detroit to Santa Barbara, students, faculty, and community members are uniting to host teach-ins in their own communities. In our video, members of UW-Madison community explain why they’re hosting a teach-in and how they are collaborating to organize the weekend-long event. To spark debate and discussion on how to create the Next System, teach-ins are convening communities around one goal in Spring 2016: envisioning a new system and discovering the avenues that will bring it to fruition.
