Pando Populous takes its name from the largest and oldest organism on the planet — a giant quaking aspen tree, spread over more than a hundred acres, thousands of years old, connected by a single root system.
Their philosophy developed as a careful and systematic evolution of this one idea — To be is to be in ecological relationship with everything else.
Pando Populus is different in scale and scope. Rather than focus on isolated fixes, their ambition is to serve as a forum from which to challenge basic assumptions of the modern industrial world and propose ecological alternatives.
